On May 19, 2022, the Order of the EEC Board dated 05/17/2022 No. 77 ”On the draft Decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission “On Amendments to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union “Electromagnetic Compatibility of Technical Means” (TR CU 020/2011)” came into force

Main innovations:

1. The list of products that are not covered by this technical regulation has been supplemented. Medical devices, used equipment, defense products and specially designed to ensure safety in the field of nuclear energy use were added to the exceptions;
2. Some definitions have been introduced, such as importer, used technical means, and others;
3. Paragraphs 2 and 3 of Appendix 3 have been supplemented (The list of products subject to conformity assessment in the form of certification).

In this regard, confirmation of conformity in the form of certification is required, including for system units, cash registers working together with a computer, as well as for technical means not only for household, but also for office purposes.
