The procedures for the validity of documents on conformity assessment for low-voltage equipment and technical means have been determined

The Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board has established the procedure for enacting amendments to the Technical Regulations “On safety of low-voltage equipment” and “Electromagnetic compatibility of technical equipment”, which will come into effect on December 11, 2022.

It is determined that the documents of assessing conformity of low-voltage and technical equipment with the requirements of technical regulations issued or accepted before enacting the amendments will be valid until the end of their validity period. Any products for which such conformity assessment documents have been issued can be manufactured and put into circulation during this period.

The changes were established by Decisions of the EEC Board No. 113 “On the procedure for introducing amendments to the technical regulations of the Customs Union “On the safety of low-voltage equipment” (TR CU 004/2011)” and No. 114 “On the procedure for introducing amendments to the technical regulations of the Customs Union “Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means“ (TR TS 020/2011)” dated August 16, 2022.
